Romans 5:18-6:2

New International Version

¹⁸ Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people,^(A) so also one righteous act resulted in justification^(B) and life^(C) for all people. ¹⁹ For just as through the disobedience of the one man^(D) the many were made sinners,^(E) so also through the obedience^(F) of the one man the many will be made righteous.

²⁰ The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase.^(G) But where sin increased, grace increased all the more,^{(H) 21} so that, just as sin reigned in death,^(I) so also grace^(J) might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life^(K) through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ

6 What shall we say, then?^(L) Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?^{(M) 2} By no means! We are those who have died to sin;^(N) how can we live in it any longer?
